Brand new: The B-Card
THIS WEEK
TOM PALMERDescribed
by Mike Harding as a 'great singer -songwriter', blues-folk artiste Tom Palmer
has been gigging in small intimate venues to sell-out performances with Show of
Hands at The Royal Albert Hall.
Tom has a strong reputation for delivering first class performances for all size venues, using his unique style of singing and song-writing to entertain.
Tom's latest CD release self-titled 'Tom Palmer' was the first album to be released on Phil Beer's independent record label 'Chudleigh Roots'.
The album has received great critical acclaim:"Tom almost looks like he might be a third member of Show Of Hands, but most of all he's a big man with a big musical personality. His gravelly and deeply, powerfully resonant voice is an extraordinary instrument, and his guitar playing is emphatically no second-string, accomplished and satisfying in its own right...This is a very handsome album, chock-full of great - and often very moving - songs and some great, and really characterful, singing, it should gain Tom much acclaim and a place amongst the must-sees."
